Chapter One of Atopic Skin Disease - A Manual For Practitioners
provides an introduction for members who not dermatologists, with clarification of the terminology involved (see also FAQ, and What is atopic skin disease), brief reference to the original research that led to the development of The Combined Approach, and an account of atopy. The important section on diagnosis of atopic eczema is illustrated with full colour pictures of both children and adults.
