How do you scratch?

If you want to change a behaviour, it pays to first spend time getting quite clear what the behaviour is.

Also, when it happens and what are it's consequences.

This approach is sometimes called "behavioural analysis" - and the simplest way is to think about it is this ABC 

  • Antecedents,
  • Behaviour, and
  • Consequences.
